NIGERIA'S POLITICAL HARLOTS By S. KADIRI
I feel disgusted when known professional harlots in Nigeria's politics brazenly present themselves to Nigerians as virgins.
I will come back later to discuss some of the political harlots in Nigeria but before then let me narrate the origin of the political party with the acronym ADC. In year 2005, a political party known as Alliance for Democratic Change (ADC) was formed but it was later registered with INEC in 2006, under the name of African Democratic Congress (ADC). Prior to July 2025, Ralph Okey Nwosu was the National Chairman of the ADC while Nafiu Bala Gombe was the Vice National Chairman. Then, in July 2025, political harlots came into the party and allowed themselves to be poked by the National Chairman of the ADC, who after the sweet interaction announced not only his own resignation but the entire executive committee of ADC. The Vice National Chairman of the ADC, Nafiu Bala Gombe, protested immediately that he had never resigned and if the National Chairman had resigned, the constitution of the party allowed him to be elevated to the Acting Chairman until election was held. Nafiu Bala Gombe subsequently filed a Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1819/2025 on September 2, 2025 seeking an injunction to restrain a group of political prostitutes from parading self, dealing or continuing to deal with INEC as National Chairman and Secretary. However, INEC had on September 9, 2025, uploaded the ADC led by a political harlot, which was 7 days after Nafiu Bala Gombe had filed a suit against the political harlots. In a ruling by the Court of Appeal on March 12, 2026, it was stated in legal terms that status quo ante bellum be maintained by the parties in the case. Based on the Court's ruling, INEC decided not to deal either with Nafiu Bala Gombe or the political harlots faction of ADC until the matter of which faction represents it is resolved. Thereafter, political harlots began to cry foul and blame INEC, ironically of trying to kill opposition and working to promote one party state.
David Mark who grabbed the Chairmanship of the ADC from July 2025, was a Military man who in the past had participated in the stealing of government power from elected civilians. He retired and changed his Military uniform with civilian dress but retained his Dictatorial genes. He was President of Senate for eight years as member of PDP.
Atiku Abubakar was a member of PDP and Vice President of Nigeria between 1999 and 2007. In fact he was the first Deputy Director of Custom to become a millionaire, although his official annual salary was not a million per annum. Under Obasanjo's Presidency, he was made to head Privatisation of National Assets worth 100 billion dollars but he sold them for 1.5billion dollars mostly to himself and his friends. Obasanjo who appeared to have gotten fox share of the sales of national assets was angry with Atiku Abubakar for keeping the lion share for himself. Obasanjo tried to remove Atiku Abubakar as Vice President but the Supreme Court told him he was not empowered to do so and that Abubakar could only be sacked through impeachment by the National Assembly. As the 2007 Presidential election was approaching and Atiku Abubakar knew that his chance of contesting in the election on the platform of PDP was zero, he joined ACN under the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was then the Governor of Lagos State. At the same time, Abubakar remained a PDP Vice President. He came third in the 2007 Presidential election which Umaru Musa Yar'Adua of the PDP won. When Yar'Adua's health was seriously challenged in 2010, Atiku Abubakar quietly crawled back into the PDP with the belief that even if Yar'Adua was able to finish his four years tenure he would not contest the 2011 Presidential election. Thus, he reasoned that the PDP presidential candidate would be him. As nature would have it, Yar'Adua died early in May 2010 and his Vice President, Goodluck Jonathan, became President. He picked Namadi Sambo as his Vice. Atiku Abubakar began to campaign at once that Jonathan should not contest for the Presidency in 2011, since according to the PDP's constitution presidential power should remain in the North until 2015, if Yar'Adua had not died. Atiku Abubakar contested the PDP presidential primary against Jonathan in 2010 and he lost. Jonathan went on to win the presidential election and Atiku was preparing for 2015 presidential election on the belief that it would be the turn of the North to produce President. Therefore, he led the campaign against Jonathan that, having completed Yar'Adua's tenure in addition to his four years tenure power should return to the North. However, Jonathan indicated that he would contest the presidential election of 2015 in view of the fact that he was entitled to two terms Presidency of four years each. By 2013, Muhammadu Buhari's political party, CPP, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu's party ACN, had become the arrow head of a new party named APC to challenge PDP presidential candidate in the 2015 election. Tactically, APC zoned their Presidential candidate to the North and Atiku Abubakar joined the APC to contest in their presidential primary against Buhari which he lost. Buhari went on to win the 2015 presidential election and PDP went into disarray. Once more Atiku Abubakar re-joined PDP, believing that his time had come to be President of Nigeria. When it became clear that Atiku Abubakar was going to be presidential flag bearer of the PDP in the 2019 presidential election, Olusegun Obasanjo, according to online premium times, Nigeria, said on August 4, 2018, that God would never forgive him, Obasanjo, if he should support Atiku Abubakar's presidential ambition. Buhari defeated Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 presidential election and after his eight years tenure in office power should return to the South implying that the next President should come from the South after eight years of Buhari, a Northerner.
Peter Obi's political ideology, like most of Nigerian politicians, is self-interest that is often camouflaged as tribal or religious interest. When Abacha the Dictator was presiding over Nigeria, Peter Obi licked his arse in order to get Abacha to assign him the duty to decongest Apapa Wharf, Lagos. From Apapa Wharf decongestion, Peter Obi became an overnight millionaire, thanks to the dictator, General Sani Abacha. When democracy returned to Nigeria after the death of Abacha, Peter Obi joined APGA party, formed by now late Biafra's leader, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu. It was on the platform of APGA that Peter Obi presided over Anambra State as a governor for eight years. Soon after he left office he divorced himself from APGA and became bed mate to the PDP. Thus, when Atiku Abubakar became the presidential flag bearer of the PDP for 2019 federal election he chose Peter Obi as his running mate and together they were defeated by Buhari. As Buhari's eight years tenure was to end in 2023, it was the turn of a Southerner to produce the next 8 years President, according to the PDP's constitution. Atiku Abubakar in his usual manner treated his party constitution as a toilet paper as he insisted on being the PDP presidential flag bearer in the election. Peter Obi was among the 15 members of the PDP that were screened and cleared to contest in Presidential primary of the party in 2022. Two days before the PDP's presidential primary, Peter Obi, resigned from the PDP and 72 hours to the presidential primary election of the Labour party, he joined it and through political prostitution Obi became LP's presidential flag bearer in the 2023 presidential election.
Had Atiku Abubakar Peter Obi, David Mark and others formed a new political party to oppose the government of APC, they would have been praised for being true democrats. Instead, they prostituted on another political party that had been registered officially with INEC since 2006. ADC took part in the last Presidential and National Assembly elections in which the party won only a seat in the House of Reps.
Political harlots are known for lacking self-respect. The only thing in the head of political whores, as the saying goes in Nigeria, is money for hand, back for ground. Nigeria is a sovereign nation but Nigerian political harlots don't think so. That is why Nigerian political harlots are now busy writing protest letters to Europe and the USA to intervene in a court case involving two factions of a political party, ADC, in Nigeria. According to the wayward Nigerian political harlots and their so- called branches in Europe, they are writing protest letters to Europe and the US against what they term as "INEC's Unlawful De-recognition and Suppression of the African Democratic Congress (ADC)," which they consider as "A threat to Multi-Party Democracy and Electoral integrity in Nigeria Ahead of the 2027 General Election." INEC was not aware that Nafiu Bala Gombe had filed a suit against the illegal seizure of ADC by David Mark and co., of which he, Gombe, was the National Vice Chairman when the EFCC accorded Mark's faction recognition by uploading it on September 9, 2025, seven days after Gombe had filed his Suit. Status quo ante bellum issued by the Appeal Court must referred to the situation that persisted in the party on or before September 2, 2025, when Mr. Gombe filed his Suit against David Mark and co-pollical harlots. Thus, INEC was correct in not recognising either of the two factions. If David Mark and his faction of ADC is not satisfied by the INEC's interpretation of status quo ante bellum they should approach the Court of Appeal for correct interpretation.
In January this year, the United States invaded Venezuela and kidnapped the President, Nicholas Maduro. According to the online Nigerian Vanguard, the National Publicity of Mark's faction of African Democratic Congress, ADC, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, said, "The African Democratic Congress (ADC) considers the Saturday's action by the United States Government to arrest the President of Venezuela, Nicholas Maduro and his wife as a clear warning that sends a strong message to the Nigerian Government and any other government that lacks legitimacy." In other words, the ADC political harlots believed that the USA's purpose of invading Venezuela and abducting its President was because electoral illegitimacy. If the election that resulted in the emergence of Maduro as President of Venezuela was illegitimate, it should also affect the Vice President, Delcy Rodriguez, who ran and won on the same ticket with Maduro. However, no new election has been held after the abduction of Maduro in Venezuela. Rather, Delcy Rodriguez had been elevated as Acting President. USA's Unlawful action in Venezuela had nothing to do with illegitimacy of the government of Venezuela. For the political harlots in David Mark's faction of ADC they will rather play Vidkun Quisling, the Norwegian traitor who betrayed his country for Hitler, I will like to remind them of the Principles of sanctity of national sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs of another country duly enshrined in Articles 2 (1) and 2 (4) of the United Nations Charter.
