Perhaps, not such a bad idea after all, the idea , reality and praxis

so-called “chosen people”

you have either democracy or demo crazy
or a crazy demon like the MAGA genius

you have freedom of speech.
He can say just about any bloody hell

Magamaniac is getting a wee too big for his socks,
to the extent that he wants to expand
his American overseas Empire
to include the province of Kermanshah
in his grand scheme of things and his Habibi’s
New Map of the Middle East

who might think that he’s a second term
incarnation of General Custer :
“ You'll hear a sound similar to the one Custer
heard before he got ambushed”)
so listen good :

Concerning Nigeria, the onomatopoeic Abolaji Adekeye
has summarised those insidious intentions
better than the devil’s dictionary and of course

or the signifying monkey could ever hope to do in sebene,
free flow verse or the iambic pentameter
assuming that such a thought has ever crossed his mind
about taking a shot at that or at being elected
the next people’s president of the United States of Nigeria
popularly known as Naija.
If I may paraphrase from Norman O Brown’s Love’s Body

the same number of syllables
almost rhymes with bribery
yes, he has a dream, the conglomeration
of oppositional forces
which he would like to advertise
as a constellation of like-minded
honest citizens assembled for the good of his country.

could be what non well-wishing outsiders feel
smells like obsession the name of a popular perfume
and that at this stage of conception
Pa Utomi’s newly concocted

reeks of nothing short of
“a primitive secret society”
