Surely ... there is time for everything under the sun. President Robert Mugabe shall be missed by his immediate family and friends for his care, love, provision, leadership ..., by Zimbabweans and the world for many describable and indescibable things...
In all, the world will miss him ... after all, he was a great man.

The first post-independence leader, Robert Mugabe, has died age 95 nearly 2 years after he was forced to step-down after 37 years in power. A very controversial figure within Zimbabwe loved for his leadership and guerrilla leader against the white minority government and was elected Zimbabwe’s first political leader. He will be remembered for his massive social programs of educating black Africans throughout the country but will also be criticize for his decline in rule towards the end of tenure when massive protest encompass the country calling for his resignation. Surely a polarizing figure in his own right and a end to a chapter in Zimbabwe’s history.

During September of 2019, the contentious Zimbabwe ex-president Robert Mugabe passed away at the age of 95. His time as the leader of the country was very mixed- going from his early days as a fighter and promoter of social programs, to his tyrannic last few years that culminated in a military intervention. Personally, I think that it is fair to judge an individual by their present actions- despite what he had accomplished in the past, Mugabe’s actions ultimately led to strife for the country, leading to fair resentment. Nevertheless, it is fair to say his impact on Zimbabwe was substantial, and that he will be a staple of its history in the future.
