Colleagues, what do you think of this?

Sincerely,

Victor O. Okafor, Ph.D.

I myself do not judge a man [or a woman] by  the color of his [or her] skin. The yardstick that I use to judge a man [or a woman] is his [ or her] deeds, his [her] behavior,  and his [or her] intentions. I have always kept an open mind, which is necessary to the flexibility that must go hand in hand with every form of intelligent search for truth. And, every time you let someone stand on your head and you don’t do anything about it, you are not acting with intelligence and should not be on this earth—you won’t be on this earth very long either." -- Malcolm X.

He seems to be reading from a well-prepared anti-Fulani script, and there are some gullible people, useful idiots and bigots who believe just about anything that the Oyibo says.

How does the propagandist know that “ It’s the Fulani” ?

Where is the evidence, the incontrovertible evidence, the proof.?

Yeah, and he would build three thousand houses for a Billion Naira. What kind of houses? I bet  that if he could build three thousand then a Chinese construction firm would build thirty thousand for the same price tag.

BTW, instead of divide and rule, by sowing the seeds of enmity towards one particular people, the Fulani, Nigeria’s.Christians could join forces with Nigeria’s Muslims and pray collectively to  live together in peace harmony in their Nigeria, the country that they love and  have in common….

Cornelius,

Try to educate yourself on the discourse from and about supremacist Fulani discourse in contemporary Nigerian history.

Are you aware of the Fulani militia,.agents of ethnic cleansing in the Middle Belt?

What do you know of Miyetti Allah, the Fulani group who  recurrently justified their massacres, without any pushback from the govt, but support for their stance, a situation recurrent in the Presidency of Muhammadu Buhari, a Fulani man?

What's your view about the recognition from Sheikh Gumi about a branch of the  terrorists torturing parts of the North as Fulani, like himself, I expect, and his insistence  that they are people whom the govt should negotiate with and integrate into the national budget?

What's your opinion on the Northern elders  group who recently declared that these terrorists be put on the govts payroll?

What's your view of Nuhu Ribadu, likely a Fulani, and  National Security Adviser, whose  office was described as unilaterally  carrying out such an initiative by arming Miyetti Allah members in Kwara, an association his office is yet to deny weeks after?

Are you aware of the growing pushback by Hausa against Fulani domination, amidst efforts to decouple Hausa identity from the terrorist culture of known Fulani bandits?

Try and educate yourself on Nigerian politics they way you do about the Israeli/Palestinian crisis instead of remaining stuck in dismissive responses devoid of information.

I would appreciate a specific, informed reply, addressing specific issues, and possibly addressing the qs I have asked,  demonstrating that you aware of the unfolding history informing the contemporary Nigerian discourse on terrorism by violent Fulani as attested by Fulani people themselves and other Nigerians.

Thanks

Toyin

With all due respect to you, your response comes across as propagandist. You need to evaluate information on the basis of some yardstick, not just for the fact of it coming from an "Oyibo" (which, I grant to you, does happen most often through victims of colonial mentality) or on the basis of it coming from someone who looks like you or anyone else. For you to dismiss with a wave of the hand, the charge that he made against the well-known nomadic Fulani bloody incursions across the Sahel and within Nigeria is indicative of either of one of two factors: (1) you have intentionally turned a blind eye to reality for for political reasons, or (2) you have not kept up with information that has been pouring out the Sahel about similar nomadic Fulani bloody incursions for land grabbing and ethnic cleansing.
Second, what did you hear on the video clip about the inflated building contracts that came to you as new, strange or incredible about the way that some governmental officials in Nigeria do go about their jobs? Check with EFCC. What unit measures did you apply to arrive at your conjectural rebuttal data?

What are the implications of this reality?

Folks:

"Recall that a few years ago, a "great power" predicted that due to political disarticulation, Nigeria would become a failed state and collapse." This prediction did not happen.

What is your take given the current political, economic, and social dilemmas in Nigeria against the backdrop of the judicial, legislative, and executive unconstitutional rule in this great country?

Happy Black History Month!

There’s the proverbial colonial mentality always labouring under this kind of burden :

Professor Okafor was of course  taking me literally.

Please forgive me. I have no idea what Nigeria’s and Nigeria’s government procurement laws are like, but in normal democracies, in the name of transparency and accountability it’s usually open tender - failing which the corrupt elite is likely to be getting away with the preposterously exorbitant figures that the anti-Fulani toubabu quoted about constructing  300 village houses  - which in turn gave rise to my own hyperbole that if  the toubabu boasts that  he could build 3, 000 village houses for one billion naira then our Chinese brethren who are already the most cost effective builders on the planet could most probably construct 30,000 low cost houses for the same price tag

Oluwatoyin Adepoju,

Psychological warfare: US tells citizens to 'leave Iran now'

Gone are the Wild West days of genocidal conquest of North America’s Native Americans - North America’s Indigenous People  - you’ve heard of and probably met some of the Apache, the Blackfeet, the Cherokee, the Navajo , the Sioux

The Native American Tribes List is long.

You've probably heard of the legendary Crazy Horse, and Sitting Bull .

Trump’s ancestors, the genocidal gringos are still being valourised as harbingers of civilisation, still being cinematically rebranded and marketed by Hollywood films featuring Cowboys &  Indians - known as “Westerns” - land theft, land grabs, ethnic cleansing, cattle rustling, John Wayne, Gene Autry, General Custer, Gary Cooper, Kirk Douglas, Glenn Ford,  Gunfight at the OK Corral etc.

Don’t switch sides or change your points of view about the aforementioned, if you're outside the country just point the compass towards Abuja and maintain your focus on this particular ethnic brotherhood: The Fulani

You may also keep an eye on updates from  Dr. Aliyu Tilde

Since the Fulani are symbols of Islam, are viewed in that way, it makes sense that that’s one more reason why they are being specially targeted, as scapegoats, especially by the Islamophobes and of course when it’s war propaganda , as we all know it’s truth that’s the first to be sacrificed.

Predictably, you continue to be most vociferous  when it comes to lambasting the Fulanis’ Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria

If you listen carefully to what that Oyibo propagandist that I was originally responding to,  said - “It’s the Fulani” - with all that you know,  you could not - like him  - be also attributing all the ongoing mayhem to our dear Fulani brethren, when you know full well that there are scores of God-forsaken anti-Christ ransom kidnaping bandits who have no Fulani DNA, fingerprints  or footprints, and are coming from everywhere, from their various ethnic and religious bases among other places in the Naija Federation.

Your questions -those perennial questions have been severally discussed and dismantled by Baba Kadiri over the years.  But now almost out of nowhere Sheikh Gumi , Act 2, Scene 1,  the bearded ( Sunnah) Sheikh Gumi enters the scene. I have been following him on Youtube, the past couple of months. It's incomprehensible that he has now been arrested by the US military….

On Wednesday, I phoned my Edo Bro: “Ow Now? “. I told him that the temperature in Stockholm was 8 degrees below freezing, I could hear him smiling as he

told me that he had now been in Nigeria for ten days and that the temperature was plus 34 degrees. Some years ago he had told me that one evening as he was relaxing on his verandah he espied a Fulani herdman fully armed with an AK47 lurking somewhere in the shadows on his farm. Didn't you take a photo of him, I had asked him.

He didn’t answer the question .

It’s a good sign that he did not mention any such trespassing this winter season.

Your vantage point is that you are actually there , in Nigeria.

Have you yourself ever seen a Fulani herdsman carrying an AK 47?

TO THE SOULED & “UNSOULED” BEINGS WITHIN AND BEYOND

The so called “black history month” should be LIVED EVERY DAY AND EVERY NIGHT OF EVERY week, month, year ad infinitum as a “mereotic” (aka mereological) phenomenon within this known/unknown/unkowable?!) wide-wide deep-deep WORLD (with forever and forever boundaries).
