UNA toolbox installation for ArcGIS Pro

Hello everyone,

I am new to ArcGIS and is using ArcGIS student license, I desperately need to use the UNA toolbox for my research, however I am facing issues with adding the toolbox. I have the network analyst extension.

I read the 'UNA Help' document, and it said that I need ArcGIS 10 or 10.1 to run the toolbox, but the only available software for download is ArcGIS Pro 3.6 and older versions. I have downloaded ArcGIS Pro but keep encountering errors when I try to add the toolbox.

After some research, I found that ArcGIS 10 or 10.1 is referring to ArcGIS Desktop, which has been deprecated and there is no option for new users to download it on the official site, and that it will be officially retired on March 1st 2026. 

May I know if there is a version of UNA GIS toolbox that is compatible with ArcGIS Pro? Or is there a way for me to download ArcGIS Destop 10 or 10.1? Thank you.

We do not currently maintain the UNA GIS toolbox and it is hopelessly out of date. I suggest using either the UNA Rhinoceros toolbox (https://unatoolbox.notion.site) or the UNA Madina Python package (https://madinadocs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/), which we do maintain and which offer far more advanced capabilities (including all the former GIS capabilities). Apologies for jumping into the conversation — I hope you don’t mind. Thank you for pointing out the UNA Madina Python package and the UNA Rhinoceros toolbox. They look very promising and I’m eager to explore their capabilities.
I was wondering if there are any video tutorials or recorded sessions available that explain how to implement analyses using UNA Madina in Python, or how to work with UNA in Rhinoceros. Any guidance or resources would be greatly appreciated.
