Hello Neighbors!

Late last year, the Minneapolis City Council passed a law term-limiting neighborhood board members to no more than 6 years of consecutive service. So after 8+ years on both the SUNA & CARAG neighborhood boards, yesterday was my final day representing you in that capacity. Interestingly enough, members of the Minneapolis City Council have no term limits themselves.

It has been an honor & privilege to help make our neighborhood a better place to live & work for everyone in our community. Now it is up to you to select the next group of neighborhood representatives.

Below is information on the list of candidates for the South Uptown board. Vote right now at the  link listed right here:

Happy Autumn to everyone!

Additional nominations will be accepted during the Annual Meeting. This link to the online ballot will become active during that time period.

South Uptown will match the cost of security improvements on a 1:1 basis up to $500. Funding is limited and applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis.

Agreed! Thank you!

And for all the things you did in and around the board, you have been a wonderful friend to and in the neighborhood.

Ditto from a former neighbor.

Brad, you may not be on the board officially but you’re still “The Mayor” of South Uptown – Your leadership and abilility to communicate are very unique and most appreciated.  Keep on doing what you do so well!

Happy fall y’all
