jim, checkout XC Skies.  Not a lot of ridge lift but boomer thermals.   7 to 800 fpm and top of lift at 8000 feet.

Jim, I only look for wind direction, speed, and rain potential. Too lazy to worry about the rest.

I use Accuweather for general conditions, then if it looks interesting I use Ventusky for a closer look.  I don’t usually get into skew-Ts and other intricacies since I tend to stick to the ridge.  I also have trouble launching in low wind, I need to go back to the training hill to work on my forward inflations.  I will go this afternoon and take a look, see you there.
