There was a dogpile at the bottom of Decision....I jumped into the fun, took a bite of someone's stern, and swam. Lost a shoe in the process and hiked it out. A "Massacre-ence" to be sure! Thanks to those that helped pick up the pieces!

I wanted to wait until results were "official"....That start is B.R.U.T.A.L...I also ran into an entire shelf of rocks after big nasty because my glasses fogged up! #holyhumidity 

Took some known race lines, tried others to get up and away from people, some worked, some didn't.  With the last rapid left, I had 4 women in front of me and I took the left line, caught three women and almost got the 4th except for the last inch. #intervaltrainingforthewin #justrotateitout

Shout out to Ali for placing 3rd in our division!! You didn't get your moment on Friday night and you deserved it! 

Thanks Calleva for helping me to place in the top 5 for ladies the last two years!

Also Congrats to Matt Hood who said he walked out but managed to finish 37th overall "officially"...maybe they counted your lost shoe?;)

Carrie, you are hilarious and the clear hashtag master! Congratulations on your two-years-running top 5 finish. Next year, in addition to the interval training, try throwing your shoe ahead of your boat... that seems to  have worked well for Matt. :)
