Hey all,

This is the last fall training weekend day! We have some folks at the Gauley on their graduation trip, let's all wish them luck!

Tomorrow we are going to be up at Fishermen's eddy. I will be leading both the 9 am and 12 pm session. If you forget which one you signed up for below is the list. We will be working on finishing touches to our edge control, paddling in fast moving water below horseshoe, boof practice at portage rapid, and attaining at s-turn. This is your last weekend session before your Gauley trips, so please put forth more effort than you have been and be willing to push yourself to do hard moves.

My number is 240. 678.8768 if you need to reach me on the day of.

Half slice boats will be preferred, but if you'd rather bring the boat you're going to paddle the gauley in then that will also be an excellent option.

See you at the 12 PM!

Jim

Great Falls Park closed because at capacity. Any tips for accessing park from Virginia?

Cranky cop at Georgetown Pike blocking entrance. Difficult Run parking lot packed.
Thinking about paddling/walking from Riverbend Park.
