Hey Friends,

Got any hotel recommendations for Summersville WV? I am going later in the season, and it's always so cold and rainy....

Any hotels to avoid?

Thanks!

Hampton Inn was nice and clean.  Try to get a ground floor room near the door and you can avoid the lobby.  Keyless entry.

Jen,

I also stayed at the Hampton Inn Summersville.  Convenient location--next to the usual Gauley Fest site.  Comfortable, sound-proofed rooms.  Adequate breakfast.  And it's pretty cheap: they are advertising rates of around $80.

One caution.  They make a big show of publicizing the measures they are taking against COVID.  But at least half the guests, and even some employees, were not even wearing masks.
