I'm curious about what devices are currently supported by the Unibone...

So I looked at Joergs homepage but I get a lot of 404 errors.
Any idea's of where I can find this information?

Regards, Roland

Roland,
The UniBone and QBone can emulate RX01s, RX02s, RK05s, RL01/2s, MSCP disks of any size, and any missing memory you might need. It also has a spare DL11 serial port if you need it, and it can load simh paper tape files (.ptah) or Macro-11 listing files (.lst) directly into memory.

One other key feature is that RL02 disk images in RT-11 format can be set shareable. When this is enabled you can ftp or sftp a file from a PC to the Unibone to a linux folder that maps to a RT-11 disk images. This makes it extremely easy to move files into and out of RT-11 from your PC or the internet directly. Since RT-11 DECnet is lost this becomes very helpful. Also, RSX11M can read these RT-11 disks with FLX.

Best,
Mark

Thanks! I've been using the unibones for a few years now. I didn't know about the RT11 image sharing option. Good to know!

On that devices is being worked now? I'm very curious if there will be a network interface in the future.

Regards, Roland

Roland,
I’ve heard that Joan Touzet from Decromancer in Canada was thinking about working on a DELQA emulation this summer. Earlier this year she introduced the QBone Dual which is a QBone in a Dual width board. It is really helpful for smaller QBus systems in that in addition to being a Dual card it has the BeagleBone incorporated into the card itself so only 1 slot is used. That is it has the same dimensions as a normal QBus Dual card.

Hopefully, any networking emulations would also work in a UniBus system like the MSCP emulation, since DELUAs are pretty pricey.

Best,
Mark
