In Person BO Training - June 8th

Hello, all. 

The ITS/DISC Team is happy to announce we have scheduled Business Objects 4.3 training classes in the Arbor Lakes North Dome on June 8 from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. This is an in-person training that covers the fundamentals of Business Objects and the steps to navigate in the new version to perform basic, intermediate, and advanced tasks in BO. There are 40 slots available for this class. Please bring your own laptop and power adapter and make sure you can access the Super-Store Universe. If you sign up for this training class and then find out you can’t attend, please cancel and let the Business Objects team know so we can fill your slot with someone from the waitlist.

There are 2 sessions : 

1.  The morning session, Business Objects Fundamentals and Intermediate Level, (8:30 – 12:00 PM) will cover how to get started in BO, where everything is now, through creating reports. 

2. The afternoon session, Business Objects Advanced Level (1:00 - 4:30 PM) will cover advanced topics like using Excel as a Data Source, Publications, Merged Dimensions, BO report as a data source, Sub-Queries, combined queries and scheduling report output to multiple destinations.

If you want to attend all day sign up for both sessions, otherwise sign up for either the morning session or the afternoon session. Please sign up here for the sessions.

Lunch and drinks are not provided. You can either bring your lunch or there are several dining options nearby.  

We are following up this in-person training with a 1-day Zoom Business Objects 4.3 Fundamentals training class covering the same topics. We will be announcing the date for that training in the next couple of weeks.
