This Sunday looks suitable for a launch of a Hwoyee 50g balloon from Plymouth in SW UK. The payload, a Heltec Wireless Tracker will be transmitting Horus Binary V3 on 434.714 MHz. Power is just 10mW. Launch should be around 1000 UTC, 1100 local. Expected max altitude will only be about 10K so given the location I suspect not many will be able to track it but it should appear on Sondehub-Amateur as M0WIV-2.

This is an experimental flight as the board has not been tested at altutude and everything including the parachute is very close together so it will qualify under the sub-2m rule but as a result it may not survive the burst.

Weather will of course be the deciding factor on the go/no go launch decision.

Awwwww crap, only just seen this - the Ichthus College launch used the notional "50g" balloon and that made a much higher altitude, like about double, so your prediction may not match reality.

It didn't, it reached nearly 18Km! Very impressive but not what I planned. I'll publish a post-mortem later today.
