Hi,

I'm interested in running survival analysis using gene expression data from TCGA COAD dataset. I realized that there are two options: "GDC TCGA Colon Cancer (COAD)" and "TCGA Colon Cancer (COAD)". For a specific gene expression, the two datasets have different sample sizes. Could you explain their differences?

Thanks so much!

Hello,

These help pages describes the differences between these two sources of TCGA data: https://ucsc-xena.gitbook.io/project/public-data-we-host/tcga and https://ucsc-xena.gitbook.io/project/public-data-we-host/choosing-a-study-cohort. Let me know if this doesn't answer your question.

Best,
Mary
