Hi Utah County Birders!

I saw the first Band-tailed Pigeon arrive at 8:21 this morning.  This makes the ninth year in a row that they've come to my feeders. They should be coming all summer, pretty much.

If you'd like to see one, you can wait a while until they start coming more regularly - probably in a week or so.  I'll let you know when there's a good time of day when they're coming pretty regularly.

I've attached a photo of a Band-tailed Pigeon at the same feeder and in about the same position as I saw it this morning. (I've taken lots of pictures of these guys :-)

Now summer has officially begun in my yard!
