Hello,

I have managed to get Nextcloud 11 up on an EC2 instance, but every time I try, --TLS --Letsencrypt fails.  I really would like to use https.  Is there anyway to fix it after the site is up?  I have no idea why it fails.  I'm just following along the steps to install.  Http://34.205.155.87 is the current site - waiting on dns to propagate.

Thanks,

John

As discussed on IRC, that's because letsencrypt requires an actual domain name that resolves to your host. An IP address does not work.

P.S. Could you file an issue at https://github.com/uboslinux/ubos-admin/issues/new to report this? We should have an error message instead of silently proceeding.

Done.  So, is there a way to add ssl after setup is completed, or do I re-install using ssh -i <your-key-file> -l shepherd <mydomain>?

Thanks a lot!

You should be able to redeploy the site, after having added the TLS / letsencrypt flag into the Site JSON. There is currently no command for this. Site JSON doc is here: http://ubos.net/docs/developers/site-json.html

If that sounds too complicated, blow the site away and recreate it with the flags. :-)

I'll just delete it and start over.  Thanks a million!  By the way, the auto update does not work. I didn't see any info in the documentation for how to do a manual update.
