I format it in FAT32 every way a Rufus would let me and test it in the uIEC The right LED on it just comes on and no left green LED. So it never sees it on my commodore.

It's a PNY Class 10 SD card.

It's this type card:

Any link to a 32GB card that works that some one has used?

Maybe is the OS on my uIEC.

I did this command:

@UJ
@"",14
74,uiec v0.10.3.00,00

So is that why it don't work? If so were is the download I can put on a 8GB card to update the uIEC? If that don't work I will mail the SD card to you Jim.

That is the latest production release.  I have a 32GB card and it works fine (I have a 128GB card as well and it works, but that's a different story).

I'd mail the card.  Since it is PNY, it might be just a cheap card, and they cut corners.

Wow got it working on a 32GB SD card. It's this type:

A Sony SD card and it works with it. I don't get why it did not work with the other SD card a PNY one.

It says "65535 Blocks Free" !

I got a 64GB SD card on it now and it's working.

But I think the slot is damaged some now. I could not remove the SD card a lot of times push it in and out and it would not come out so just faced it out and now it's like it don't want to stay in.

Any one else have this problem? If so what do you do to fix it?

Just got a SD2IEC and wanted to know if the Sony 32GB card works in it and it does. But it don't on my uIEC. I got the v3.1 board. Not sure if that is why.

It is the PNY 2GB card I got working on the SD2IEC that did I could not on the uIEC. I said Sony card in the last post that was wrong it does work in the uIEC. Only one I found that did not is that PNY one.

That is truly odd, as the codebase is the same and the microcontroller
is the same as well.

Any chance I can get the PNY card here so I can test?

Just plug it in to the uIEC and did a Control D it just says "? DEVICE NOT PRESENT  ERROR IN 0"

I put the other SD card in there and Control D and F1 and get a directory of it.

I will send you the card.

Tacking says I will get the C=64C jiffyDOS from you tomorrow. So just use the address on there to send the SD card to you?

I received it, reformatted it, but no dice.   Ingo, any ideas what I should debug first?  I am pretty sure it has a valid FAT23 partition and MBR on it, but I fdisked it in Linux to be sure and formatted it there as well.  I can make an image of the raw disk if needed

Sort of good news for me knowing that it just was not me. Something that I was the only one to find a SD card that don't work in the uIEC.

Thank you Jim for testing it.

Check if it "survives" initialisation and if so, check if there are any
successful sector reads at all (and maybe if the data they return looks
reasonable).

When debugging problematic SD cards, instrumenting send_command was
often helpful - printing "cmd", "parameter" and the answer of the card
("res") via UART makes it easy to figure out which path was taken
through sd_initialize.
