The "Hills" co-star is among a crowded field seeking to unseat L.A. mayor Karen Bass... the voting ends June 2nd and, unless a runoff is needed which would be held on the "classical" election day Nov 3rd, the winner would be sworn in July 1st... the field is running nonpartisanly, and although Pratt is registered Republican he contends most of his supporters are Democrats:

Back in May, of course, he and his dear Heidi Montag reportedly inked a deal with Boardwalk Pictures, of Welcome to Wrexham and aka Charlie Sheen fame, for a reality series allegedly following him as he campaigns (he denies):
