The ads, which are still being produced, show familiar celebs talking with Federal officials ostensibly including Surgeon General/Vice Admiral Adams and NIAID chief Dr Fauci... the DHHS official behind the campaign, Michael Caputo (wiki), contends Don "personally" called him to request it... this is the same guy who claimed anti-Trump "hit squads" were out there, just before being diagnosed with cancer and going on leave...

The bottom falls out of Caputo's grand plans... only three celebs, one of whom you ain't heard of, showed up... an anon official told Politico "we could use that [money] on buying PPE"...

Apparently part of this venture involved folks who put on the Santa suits seasonally, who would be given early dibs on a vaccine when it becomes available in exchange for making their own set of adverts and in-person events... but that might not happen in time for the holiday, so that too's been scuttled...
