My wife likes the the classic Christmas movies like “Elf” or “Christmas Vacation,” but she also watches the formulaic Hallmark ones. I picked this one amongst the chum because it costarred Brooke Shields, so — I thought to myself — how bad could it be?

It turned out to feature very little Brooke Shields, instead featuring a lot of less-than-subtle product placement promoting “I Heart Radio” and was — even by cheesy Christmas movie “standards” — bad.
