Paramount Signs with Saudi Boxing Promotion

The deal is actually with TKO, the outfit that owns the uFC and WWE, but it is for the new Saudi boxing promotion Zuffa, which is owned by TKO and the Saudi entertainment conglomerate Sela--matches will stream on Paramount+ starting in January, with possible CBS and other Paramount property telecasts--this is coming right off the controversy over the Riyadh Comedy Festival:

Remind me that the reason that HBO and Showtime got our of boxing was because it had become irredeemably crooked, not to mention how dubious doing anything with the Saudis is.
