Back from the de^H^H seriously ill

The ongoing battle of moi versus urinary calculi (there are now at least five or six, tho one is intractable due to being embedded in the wall of an "extra" bladder I developed back in the 1980s*) continues in the near future at a hospital near here... I have been told it is not completely due to my diet, but I still intend to make changes due to the involved items having themselves changed just in recent years... would a "standing" workstation help, or one that has only a bench rather than a full backed seat?
