Entertainer MItzi Gaynor Dies at 93

The leggy triple-threat starred in a bunch of movie musicals in the 50s, the most successful being 1958's "South Pacific," where she played Nellie Forbush, but became better known in the 60s and 70s for her Las Vegas appearances and a series of lavish variety specials, most of them on CBS, which garnered 16 Emmy nominations over the years--she died yesterday of natural causes:
