She appeared on Colbert's show to sing, but when on NBC's "8 Before 8" Youtube series, she expects that Olivia Benson will come out before "SVU" ends, and that Rapp would play her lover... Mariska went close to there, f'rinstance, in Jan 2024:

Although I appreciate the hat tip to the Charlotte area with the “704”  sticker appearing on her set during the Colbert appearance, I don’t understand the value of appearing on a show like this only to lip-sync her way through a song.

Not exactly a AAA kind of act. Those are mostly what gets booked on the late-night shows at the :50 mark. Rapp could be booked by Fallon, but they more likely would have her come to the desk and play "Wheel of Musical Impersonations" and get the YouTube video.
