The Poynter Institute, which has partnered with the Gannett-owned paper in the past, suggests that major restructuring to come with Gannett's merger with media consolidator GateHouse will, eventually, lead to a digital-only existence for the one-time "McPaper"... the daily's publisher Maribel Perez Wadsworth firmly denies, but new CEO Paul Gascobert, say sources, is "not impressed" with the current operations...

The local paper – which, in my case, is the Pulitzer Prize-winning Charleston Gazette-Mail, featured today in a Poynter article. (More importantly, my brother is in the top picture, photobombing us from his wheelchair.)

Food. Wi-fi for people's notebook/laptop/device. Shuttle vehicles, possibly. And some other paper, if the paper thinks it will help them and they haven't cut back to less-than-daily.
