The former MLB catcher, whose post-playing career made him far more famous, between broadcasting games (ISTR a game to which I won tickets in the 70s, at the previous Yankee Stadium, he was doing for ABC), commercials e.g. Miller Lite beer, and plenty of talk-show visits e.g. Carson... his consistent coverage of the long-failing Milwaukee Brewers part-inspired the "Major League" movies... 90.
