Considering the next Spider-Man movie is rumored to be a live action Spiderverse film, this move makes a lot of sense to get them onto Disney+ before the movie comes out in December.

I'm going to assume that the Raimi and TASM Spidey movies will be in the "legacy" section of the D+ Marvel page where the FOX X-Men/Fantastic Four movies are.
