Venture capitalists should be regarded as only slightly better than pedophiles and rapists. The people on Shark Tank (and Dragon’s Den) are talentless vapid wallets, full of ego and lacking discernible skills of any kind. They should not be televised; they should be shunned.

And their 'success rate' at funding successful companies is at best comparable to the batting average of below-average baseball players.  They get lucky and confuse it with acumen.

Don't forget that Shark Tank panelists laughed at the video doorbell called Doorbot. It launched anyway, changed it's name to Ring and Amazon bought it for a bazillion dollars.
