An acting career from the 60's, such as in pioneering biker flick The Wild Bunch and as a tormentor of "The Beverly Hillbillies," to the 90s, such as surprising old flame J.R. with the news of his having fathered her child (James Richard, of course) in the later years of the original "Dallas"... also had the distinction of playing opposite two actors that portrayed Philip Marlowe, Jim Garner in the 1969 movie, and Powers Boothe in the 80s HBO original series...
