After their Olympics opening extravaganza (our coverage), the Nov 9th Washington/Penn State game (the official "White Out" game... they had an unofficial one in September with Illinois), starting a half-hour after the OTA Florida State/Notre Dame contest, will be the first college football event for the theater-content provider... home viewers will have to go to Peacock...

(and for those that wondered, the recent PSU home loss to Ohio State was the "helmet" game... fans mostly wore white, except for a dark-blue "stripe" crossing the 50-yard line)

I have no interest in this one, but we did the Opening and Closing Ceremonies (the former in IMAX, the latter, not) and while it was nice to see them live in real time, more or less, I really didn't appreciate the chance to see so damn many commercials in big-screen high-def. I can only assume the football game will be more of the same.
