The next host of J!: Interim

Via its Facebook page, “Jeopardy!” will be resuming production next Monday (11/30) with a series of interim hosts, beginning with the GOAT himself.

They'll also be airing reruns the weeks of December 21 and December 28 (what they're calling 10 of Alex's best episodes), with Alex's last week of shows airing January 4.

His last episode had been scheduled to air December 25, and people were worried that their local station would preempt it (NBA basketball is scheduled to air on ABC that day, among other potential issues). Now the only question is whether or not any "Christmas" or other topical references made by Alex will be edited out of the shows that last week.

As I recall, he reportedly made a few brief remarks at the beginning of that last week (i.e., his last taping day) that provoked some emotion after his passing. Not sure if they were Christmas-specific, or vaguely holiday related, or neither.

If he mentions the day on the last show, they could just explain the show's original scheduling and leave it as recorded.
