July 24, 1936 – May 1, 2025
Ruth Buzzi died peacefully in her sleep at home in Texas.
She was in hospice care for several years with Alzheimer’s disease.
Memorial arrangements by Lacy Funeral Home, Stephenville, Texas to be announced.
Her family requests donating to Alzheimer’s research (www.alz.org) in lieu of flowers.

Even if not for "Laugh-In," you can connect her (through IMDb, of course) to comedy contemporaries like Marlo Thomas and Lucille Ball... don't forget Ruthie the storekeeper on "Sesame Street"... even presented an Emmy in 2008 (to J-Stew's "Daily Show") as Gladys from behind a "Laugh-In" wacky wall and appeared in a few MTV videos...
