Variety: "CableTV.com recently conducted a survey to discover the most popular television series in each of the 50 states and D.C. [snip]

Far and away, 'Friends' is the top show in the country. The NBC sitcom was named the most popular series in 11 states, including seven of the 10 most populated ones: California, Texas, Florida, New York, North Carolina, Georgia and Ohio, where it tied with 'NCIS.'"

Here, my brother sticks to ION-61 Wilmington/Philly, chockablock with "NCIS LA," two of the "L&Os", and "Criminal Minds."

I’m more surprised by Gilmore Girls being #1 in Oklahoma than Chicago PD being #1 in PA.

For me, Monk (which I never watched before) has been #1 pandemic show. I guess that fits with the Broader geographic correlation
