Courtney Henggeler, native of near-me Phillipsburg, NJ, was first seen on TV in the opening season of "House," and went on to a bunch of mostly one-shots (e.g. Sheldon's sister Missy in "BBT") before landing the role of Amanda LaRusso... she told her agents she "no longer wanted to be the cog in the wheel of the machine" but, rather, wanted "to be the machine"... you can also connect her to George Clooney, who directed her in 2023's The Boys in the Boat for (Amazon) MGM... by the NJ Newhouse papers' Amy Kuperinsky:
