Another CW show bites the dust.
And when it dies, so dies any reason for me to watch the network again.

And the one we thought would stick around, along with Penn & Teller and "Masters of Illusion."

granted, based on previous broadcast habits, the episodes they film in January 2023 won't air until 2025

More like some sketches from the tapings will be compiled into episodes and air in 2023... some sketches from the tapings will be compiled into episodes and air in 2024... some sketches from the tapings will be compiled into episodes and air in 2025...

(I assume there aren't going to be any "bring people from the audience onstage" sketches in the upcoming taping sessions, unless Covid protocols are relaxed by January.)

Just to piggy-back off the other thread about waiting in line to be in the audience of a TV show, Whose Line was the ONLY series I voluntarily waited in line to see (without being on a guest list). During taping, very little pauses or downtime, and a lot of comedy, most of which could not be aired.

Just watched a recent episode that involved pulling people from the audience (and/or invading the audience, as Wayne is oft to do).  Copyright tag said 2021, but it's possible it was shot pre-pandemic.

Yes, the current episodes are being assembled out of sketches from pre-pandemic taping sessions. (They can wring a lot of content out of each taping session!)
