I saw on The Book of Face that one of our long term members has become engaged to be married this year. Announced on today on Valentine's Day. I great big congrats to that Long Term Outspoken Opinionated member of the list.

Shannon Doherty should now be relieved.

Dick Clark will not be hosting a reception for them.

Thanks again to everyone here for the well wishes. It is unlikely she will join this or any mailing list or message board, as she is much more introverted than I am. So in terms of helping you out with me... well... her viewing habits lean towards cheesy Christmas movies (out of season), documentaries about murderers, and Baby Yoda. So my knowledge of TV shows I hadn’t planned on watching has been expanding. But today I introduced her to both “Clue” and “Murder By Death,” which had somehow escaped her. So I guess we are both a work in progress.

Let me add my congratulations, even if I've had my disagreements with you (but hasn't everyone?).

I should say that right now I'm planning a trip to San Francisco later this spring and I wonder what I'm going to say if I run into Sikula other than "nice to meet you in person" and (if I see a show he's in) "great job!" (I'm sure as hell not going to talk about "SNL" or other things.)

I’ve met him both in NYC and SF. You could easily talk to him about theater and Letterman for hours. I met him before he and his wife Pidge were on Jeopardy so you could talk about that too.

I'll add my heartiest congratulations to Kevin (since my FB version of it was kind of meh -- just like SNL ...) and mention that I do indeed have a show running in March and April; a world premiere called "The Lady Scribblers," about some of the first women to write for the English stage. I'm at the TCM Festival later in April, but don't expect to be going anywhere else until the fall--and am delighted to talk about anything, even SNL and Bojack Horseman ...)
