It’s hard for anyone to recapture the magic of the original Charlie Brown cartoons. The new Apple+ shows come very close... they are fun and funny and sweet, but there was always a bit of bite in the mind of Schulz, a sense of social satire... that’s what’s missing from this new series, but it is still worth seeing if you’re a Peanuts fan.--
