Saw a Homeland Security commercial today telling immigrants to get out of our country. 

We are a global embarrassment.

In San Francisco, the ads appear on the sports talk radio station (and home of the Giants), which has caused no small amount of fury from both listeners and hosts.

I don't like to make political statements here, not that we as a group never have... but the current leadership is hoping for some kind of uprising by citizens, with or without credential, against them... so they can unleash military force against their attackers. There aren't enough prison cells, even being planned, to hold all the alleged enemies of the government. But very few people really want violence, even if justified.

Who is the audience for this awful, embarrassing commercial, starring the country's most infamous dog-murderer?  It's supposed to be aimed at people who are unlikely to speak English, and yet the only language spoken in it is English!  BTW I see it several times a day.

Also, I don't recall ever seeing commercials -- a lot of them -- that support a sitting president and his (unproven, questionable) policies.

This administration is going all in on propaganda. It's all over LinkedIn (where the comments to the DOE stuff have been quite funny) and Facebook as well as the atrocious commercials on radio (thanks to streaming we never see televised commercials).

Living in the SF Bay Area, I have no idea if this stuff appeals to anyone.

Let’s assume they uncover evidence of illegality in the ads… there’s no branch of the government currently interested in prosecuting criminal activity. DC is essentially lawless.
