Longtime TV mechanic Pat Goss from MotorWeek passed away last month. Though MotorWeek has been overshadowed by a certain British car show, it remains a stalwart informative counterpoint to its flashier cousin across the pond. The series has ardently refused to change tone in any way, and so for four decades, Goss produced and hosted helpful segments about the fine art of auto repair that bore no resemblance to anything by guys named Jeremy, Richard, or James.
