After four years of Donald Trump as president, a fictional (even cartoonish) story about Kate Winslet as an insane despot is damn near quaint by comparison. I mean, throughout the first episode I’m sure the writers wanted me shocked by her behavior, but the whole time I just kept thinking to myself, “Trump was worse.”
