I’m uncertain what I was supposed to glean from several nearly uninterrupted shots of Billie Piper pensively staring off into space, but whatever. Rufus Sewell apparently studied the Michael Douglas method of acting, and by that I mean he seems to show his ass almost compulsively in movies and TV. It’s an odd acting choice, but it did break up the monotony of Piper’s pensive staring.
