I'm sorry: I have to acknowledge this for the record.

All three networks, in the middle of their nightly newscasts, cut away from Donald Trump's speech.

It's one thing to roadblock a speech. It's another to clear it *in the middle of the (expletive) thing*.

The only possible modern comparison to tonight’s speech was Nixon’s “I am not a crook,” the main difference being Trump will say far worse in the days, weeks, and months to come.
