Batman has been cast to play... Batman!

Kevin Conroy is MY Batman. Having voiced the animated series, the Justice League series, several animated movies and video games, he gets to play Bruce Wayne next season on the various CW DC series.

I’m actually looking forward to this.

Oh... Burt Ward will also guest star... I’m sure that will entice Dave S to watch.

The Conroy news is the best thing that’s happened with this so far (the only things better might be Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman, George Newbern as yet another Superman, Michael Rosenbaum as The Flash, and John DiMaggio as Aquaman). Even Ward won’t keep me away from this one. I only hope they have the sense to not make him Robin and not give him those damn “Holy (fill in the blank)” interjections.

Added to the cast of the crossover event will be Clark Kent from the series “Smallville,” aka Tom Welling. Supposedly this won’t just be the actor reprising the role of A Superman; his specific incarnation of the Smallville character will be featured on the mini-series event.

Is it too much to hope they somehow CGI George Reeves into this?
