How can a Star Trek be derivative of so many things, yet none of those things are Star Trek?
P.S. - there was a podcast several years ago which was episodic Trek fan fiction set a century or so after Next Generation with the same basic plot of season 3, only the podcast was better written, and resembled... you know... Star Trek

Watching the third episode, it is now Andromeda with a better effects budget.
