Quickie Review: Zero Day

Usual overdramatized opening scene followed by the on-screen caption “Three days earlier”. You know how much better the storytelling would’ve been without that scene? Exponentially. 

At first glance, this is just a well funded yet formulaic TV miniseries. 

As an aside, I don’t want to see another actual TV newscaster playing themselves in a fictional series. Wolf Blitzer should not pretend to do his job on a TV drama; it’s bad enough he’s pretending to do his job at CNN.
