Quickie Review: Godless

Yeah, I know, it came out years ago. I think I was reluctant to watch it because I knew it featured Michelle Dockery attempting an American accent, and — talented though she may be — she cannot do an American accent. But it was a western, and I’m a sucker for a western. There is an above-the-top amount of gore and nudity (my wife said she will never look at “Lady Mary” the same way again), but the final episode was a well-done payoff for the slow-to-build character development.
