Our parents and grandparents remember him as Merv Griffin's sidekick. But for us Gen Xers, he's the voice of two of the greatest Schoolhouse Rock segments of them all: "Conjunction Junction" and "Just A Bill". On top of that, he was an Emmy- and Oscar-winning trumpeter.
Cause is as of now undisclosed, aged 88.
