The most strikeproof fall schedule yet is from the Alphabet, jampacked with unscripted franchises and game shows:

Monday
8 p.m. “Dancing with the Stars”--simulcast on Disney+
10 p.m. THE GOLDEN BACHELOR--The franchise grows up, with an older gentleman looking for love from what they indicate to be an older group of women than the mothership (but I'll bet that the Black one gets eliminated first).

Tuesday
8 p.m. “Celebrity Jeopardy!”
9 p.m. “Bachelor in Paradise”

Wednesday
8 p.m. “Judge Steve Harvey”
9 p.m. “Abbott Elementary” (Rerun)
9:30 p.m. “Abbott Elementary” (Rerun--the only scripted show on the schedule)
10 p.m. “What Would You Do?"--Not the Marc Summers "Truth or Consequences" manque on Nickelodeon in the early 90s, but the news department-produced staged setups for unwitting volunteers that was on during the summer for many years, but has been gone for a while.  But when there's strikes...

Thursday
8 p.m. “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune”
9 p.m. “Press Your Luck”
10 p.m. “The $100,000 Pyramid”

Friday
8 p.m. “Shark Tank”
9 p.m. “20/20”

Saturday
7:30 p.m. College Football

Sunday
7 p.m. “America’s Funniest Home Videos”
8 p.m. “The Wonderful World of Disney”--Because everyone likes to watch their Disney movies with lots of commercial interruptions.  What's that streamer called?

It ain't worth it, Brad.

One scripted series on a network’s entire prime time lineup… that’s depressing.

What would a strike-era “Celebrity Jeopardy!” look like anyway? Mayim’s off supporting the strikers, while former contestant Wil Wheaton has basically called Ken a scab. (And J!’s writers are WGA, right?)

Supposedly, they stockpiled lots of material before the strike.

And it should be pointed out that "Jeopardy!" and "The Chase" are exceptions in the game show world--non-WGA writers are more common, especially on Fremantle shows, following the practice of the original producer of most of their formats, Goodson-Todman (Dick DeBartolo worked for G-T shows for over 30 years but was never credited directly as a "writer," since that would indicate WGA membership--he was credited as almost everything but a writer).  But I would assume that between G-T and Mad Magazine DeBartolo was doing more than OK.

I’m more concerned about the type of celebrity that will cross a (perceived) picket line to go on the show. WW was quite Anglo-Saxon in his feelings about it.

Given his attitudes towards those on Mastodon a couple of years ago when he was briefly on it, that doesn't surprise me.
