Majority of Americans Now Cord Cutters

The Wrap's "first time in history" statement's a little out of line, since "history" only means approximately 35 years ago before at least half the nation had cable or satellite (not to mention that the line about "unreachable by traditional advertising," since I assume most cord cutters have their sets attached to antennas for OTA stations), but the gist still is that for the first time in a long time, the majority of Americans are not subscribed to a cable system or satellite service:

I don’t have cable or satellite, but access cable and local stations via YoutubeTV (can not get local stations with regular antennas where I live). Are people like me classified as cord cutters?

That’s the only way these numbers make sense. Beside YTTV there’s also Fubo, Sling, Hulu +Live TV, and other streamers that offer cable channels. That sort of undercuts the argument in the article that people no longer watch linear television.
