The Wrap's "first time in history" statement's a little out of line, since "history" only means approximately 35 years ago before at least half the nation had cable or satellite (not to mention that the line about "unreachable by traditional advertising," since I assume most cord cutters have their sets attached to antennas for OTA stations), but the gist still is that for the first time in a long time, the majority of Americans are not subscribed to a cable system or satellite service:
