I don’t care. And judging from my Twitter feed, not too many others care, including winners, except for Ariana DeBose (West Side Story) and fans of  Ms. Rodriguez. Seeing them celebrate or even acknowledge the GG is somewhat embarrassing.

And the winners are indicative of nothing, since we know there are whole studios that boycotted this year's Globes.  (Also....WEST SIDE STORY over Tick Tick Boom? I don't think so.)

This has been a long time source of cognitive dissonance to me. On the one hand every time a journalist shines a light on the HFPA they show the organization is opaque and incredibly corrupt. It’s been an easy story to do over the years. Yet the showbiz industry gets excited over the Golden Globes and the ceremony every year and they’re proud to add Golden Globe winner to the advertising for any movie, TV series, or its stars. If the industry can’t be bothered to correct its hypocrisy I’m just not going to bring attention to it.

I liked this article about how the Globes was reduced to a non-event with no big names, and no big event. Not even dinner.
